Whoa, this is cool. I assume this is one of those story ideas where the people consider the aliens or entities to be gods? This is beautifully painted, and it really communicates the concept well. I love the colors and lighting, as well as the creature's design. Very freaky and awesome, and I think the horns were a good call. :)

Additionally, I think the fact that the oranges show goes with the over piece...its a strange god, why should the environment the strange god is in make any kind of visual sense.

Seriously people, content is as important as the infrastructure when it comes to a piece lol

The two best parts of this piece are the lighting, and this strange "god" character you've got going here. The composition, being off-centered the way it is, definitely helps.

The only real nitpick I have is that those bright foreground oranges probably wouldn't show up the way they're showing here in the blue lighting.

Well originally he was meant to be in a semi-outdoor scene under the shadow of this cliffside but the composition was too flat--I left the oranges in for color contrast and to help the warm reflected light in the shadows make more sense. :P But yeah it is a bit out of place.
